Program Overview: The International Internship Experiential Learning Program is a comprehensive technology experiential learning initiative designed to empower students and recent graduates. This program offers practical, hands-on learning experiences, mentorship, and career coaching, all of which are aimed at developing in-demand skills that employer’s worldwide value. The program is delivered in collaboration with over 60 leading applied innovation hubs across Canada, ensuring participants work directly with employers to solve real-world innovation challenges.

Eligibility: Engineering, Management, Humanity Students at Undergrad and Grad Level

Time Frame: 3 Months (1 month online + 2 months in Canada)

Here’s the step-by-step guide for enrolling in the IIELP program, along with the financial aspects:  

  1. Register as a Highflier Club Member to evaluate your Student profile through Psychometric Analaysis Test. Cost for HFC Membership (Lifetime): INR 2500 (inclusive of taxes)
  2. Assessment and IIELP Program Registration: After becoming an HFC Member, an external team will evaluate your profile and then proceed with the registration for the IIELP program.
  3. Interview with the Canada Team: Following registration and document submission, you will participate in an interview with the Canada team. This step helps determine your suitability for the program.
  4. Application Processing Fee: Upon successful interview and approval, a fee of 75 CAD for application processing is required. (non-refundable)
  5. Introduction and Program Enrollment: Post application processing fee payment, we will introduce you to the Canada team. The enrollment process & the interview rounds with the Project mentors for the IIELP program will commence.
  6. Program Payment: Prior to the program’s initiation, a payment of 5000 CAD + HST (Total 5600 CAD) is mandatory. This payment should be made after attending the program’s orientation but before its commencement.
  7. The above fees don’t include flight tickets, visa fees & personal expenses.

Important Notes:  

  • While students are in Canada for 2 months, the above fees 5600 CAD include eight-week accommodations OR a top up card of 2000 CAD (for two months) and student meet and greet at the airport as student arrives. 
  • Visa Refusal: In case of a visa refusal, you are eligible for a full refund, excluding the non-refundable processing fee of 75 CAD and HFC Membership.
  • Comprehensive Offer: Approved students will receive a comprehensive offer that aids the visa application process. The offer will also provide information about the projects you’ll be working on in Canada.
